Stephanie L. Natera is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, mental health advocate, and the Founder of Strengthening Ties Counseling, LLC. She is licensed in the state of New Jersey with over ten years of experience in the field of Mental Health. Stephanie is also a NJ Certified School Counselor and School Social Worker with experience with students in various K-12 settings.

Stephanie graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelors in Women & Gender Studies and from Rutgers University with a Masters of Social Work. Stephanie has completed trainings in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Mindfulness, Grief & Loss, Restorative Practices and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Stephanie is fluent in English and Spanish and conducts individual, family, and group therapy in both languages. She has experience working with individuals of diverse backgrounds and family makeups. She works with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She has worked with members of the LGBTQ+ community in various phases of their lives. She is dedicated to helping others transform their lives and strengthening their ties to various facets of life (themselves, their families, their past, and future).
